Astier is a high-IQ floor general with excellent size (5-11) and vision out of the pick-and-roll. She plays with good pace, balancing playmaking with efficient perimeter shooting and a quick burst to attack closeouts. Defensively, her quickness and active hands make her a capable defender. Signed by the New York Liberty as an undrafted free agent for the 2026 season, Astier was projected as a backup. However, with Sabrina Ionescu sidelined early with injuries, Astier was thrust into the starting lineup and has put together a historic Rookie of the Year campaign.
