Selected #9th overall in the 2024 WNBA Draft by the Dallas Wings, Carla Leite is a lead guard with strong scoring and playmaking abilities. Offensively, she is an aggressive scorer who pushes the pace and fearlessly drives to the rim. She excels in the pick-and-roll, using her court vision to find open teammates or get to the rim for creative finishes.
In the 2024-25 season with French team Villeneuve d’Ascq, Leite led her team to the EuroCup Women title and was named Finals MVP after averaging 20.5 points, 6.0 assists, and 2.5 rebounds in the championship series. In the French League (LFB), she averaged 16.4 points and 5.1 assists, leading her team to the league finals.
