Arriving at college as a highly touted five-star recruit, Addie Deal is a 6-foot combo guard with good positional size and high basketball IQ. She uses her frame to see over the defense and make plays, while flashing the ability to score in bunches.

During her freshman campaign at Iowa, she experienced a steep learning curve adjusting to the speed of the college game. While she earned Big Ten All-Freshman honors and posted a 20-point breakout against Ohio State, she also struggled with efficiency, shooting just 29.7 percent from deep and recording more turnovers (59) than assists (56). Now transferring to Wisconsin for her sophomore season, Deal will have the opportunity to take on a larger role. To maximize her professional projection, she must tighten her handle against collegiate pressure and develop a more consistent three-point stroke.
